Kuru Labs: A New Attempt to Restructure the On-Chain Trading Experience
In the development of decentralized exchanges, while the AMM model has driven early progress, it still has limitations in terms of liquidity utilization, price discovery, and limit orders. On the other hand, although the CLOB model is more flexible and precise, it has long been constrained by public chain performance and cost issues, making it difficult to be truly implemented.
Recently, a startup project focused on building an on-chain order book trading platform, Kuru Labs, announced that it has completed a $11.5 million Series A funding round, led by a well-known investment institution with participation from several angel investors. The project aims to create a full-chain trading platform that combines order book architecture with automated market-making logic on the emerging high-performance blockchain Monad, with the goal of providing a more balanced product experience for professional traders and ordinary users.
