OBOL holders can delegate their tokens to representatives (DeleGate) to participate in Obol’s “Token House” governance system, voting on ecological decisions, upgrade proposals, and fund allocation. The platform features a Retroactive Funding (RAF) mechanism, which retrospectively funds outstanding public goods through the governance process, with the first round launching in February, focusing on decentralized Ethereum infrastructure.
OBOL is expected to further integrate into multiple DeFi protocols and liquidity pools, enhancing Token liquidity and application scope. Future community governance will also determine the addition of features such as staking and restaking, expanding the Token’s utility and ecological influence.
The total distribution of OBOL Token is reasonable, covering the ecological treasury and RAF (35.7%), investors (25.4%), team (16.3%), community incentives (12.5%), airdrop (7.5%), and Coinlist (2.6%). This structure balances the long-term ecological development with the interests of early participants.
Obol is currently an influential infrastructure project in the Ethereum ecosystem, with decentralized validator technology being key adopted by Lido, EtherFi, and Stakewise. With the development of DePIN (Decentralization Physical Infrastructure Network) and multi-chain ecosystems, the governance weight and practical value of OBOL will significantly increase. Community programs such as Techne Credential and Staking Mastery Program continue to enhance the quality and security of nodes.
