XRP holders welcome new opportunities: Doppler Finance unlocks earning potential

In this round of the cryptocurrency market cycle, although Bitcoin has performed remarkably, Ripple (XRP) has become one of the few tokens that outperformed Bitcoin. Since the low point of $0.287 in June 2022, XRP has reached a high of $3.4, an increase of 1085%. Even after the recent market correction, XRP remains around $2.1, showing an increase of over 630% compared to the cycle low. The XRP Ledger adopts a Federated Byzantine Agreement (FBA) consensus mechanism, which does not support native staking or smart contracts, resulting in XRP holders being unable to earn additional returns through staking or participating in DeFi like other mainstream cryptocurrencies.

To address this issue, Doppler Finance has proposed the concept of "XRPfi", aimed at creating new revenue channels for XRP holders. Currently, 92% of the total supply of XRP is idle, corresponding to a market value of approximately $113 billion. Doppler Finance explores diversified yield opportunities for XRP by combining CeFi and DeFi:

1. Core XRPfi product: Integrates institutional-grade custody solutions, allowing XRP holders to securely participate in institutional-grade yield strategies.

2. Sidechain Liquid Staking: Providing liquid staking services similar to Ethereum and Solana on the XRPL sidechain (such as Root Network).

3. Lending Agreement: A lending agreement customized specifically for the XRPL sidechain has been launched, expanding the lending operations of XRP and other assets.

Since its launch in the first quarter of 2023, Doppler Finance has shown strong growth momentum. On the first day of launch, a deposit limit of 200,000 XRP was snapped up in one minute. Subsequent rounds of deposit limits were expanded, and user response has remained enthusiastic. According to the latest data, approximately 8.39 million XRP has been deposited on the platform, corresponding to a TVL of about 16.73 million USD, and all deposited XRP can enjoy a real-time APY yield of 3-4.5%.

In addition to basic returns, Doppler Finance has also launched a points program that offers users potential airdrop opportunities. The points are divided into Doppler Points (DP) and Resonance Points (RP), focusing respectively on the XRPfi scenario and the sidechain liquidity staking and lending scenario. Although the official stance on the relationship between points and airdrops has not been clearly stated, it is widely believed in the industry that this could be an important indicator for future airdrops.

Participating in Doppler Finance is relatively simple. Users need to use a wallet that supports the XRPL network (such as Girin Wallet) to transfer XRP, after which they can perform deposit operations on the platform. Users can view their positions and points in real-time through the Dashboard and Points interface.

With Ripple reaching a preliminary settlement with the SEC, the XRP ecosystem is entering a period of accelerated development. Ripple has recently been very active in the B2B sector, including stablecoins and institutional services, while Doppler Finance fills the gap in the C2C layout. By providing new revenue channels, Doppler Finance is expected to activate the XRP ecosystem valued at hundreds of billions of dollars, becoming an indispensable part of the XRP ecosystem.
