Sui will host its first large-scale game summit during GDC to showcase Web3 game innovations.
Sui plans to hold its first major gaming event this March during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. The one-day event, titled "Play Beyond: Sui Game Summit," will take place at a dedicated venue near the conference, aimed at showcasing how Sui enhances the gaming experience by driving player-driven economies and innovative game modes.
Sui's blockchain technology is renowned for its exceptional performance, enabling the realization of large-scale Web3 games while ensuring a smooth user experience for players. Additionally, Sui's scalable architecture helps game developers and players maintain infrastructure costs at predictably low levels. This technology also introduces unique on-chain features to games, such as dynamically updatable NFTs and a protocol-level royalty enforcement mechanism for IP-related assets, granting publishers special control over in-game assets and creating a limited ownership experience between developers and players.
"Play Beyond: Sui Game Summit" will take place concurrently with the main events of GDC, featuring presentations, discussions, development workshops, and live game demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with partners who have already benefited from Sui innovations and explore the future direction of game development.
