Ethereum developer released, donates $500,000 to support Tornado Cash founder's defense.

[Coin World] Ethereum developer "Fede's intern" has been released from Turkey and announced a donation of $500,000 towards the legal defense of Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm. The developer stated that he was detained at Izmir Airport due to academic research related to a certain privacy protocol, and claimed that his team's work was solely for the purpose of conducting anonymization analysis research, without developing privacy features or assisting illegal activities. Previously, Storm had been found by a US jury to have violated remittance regulations for operating Tornado Cash.
