Ripple CTO: Actively advancing multiple acquisition deals, future upgrades of the XRP Ledger will enhance programmability.

PANews June 27 news, according to DL News, Ripple's Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz revealed that the company is advancing multiple acquisition deals, involving various stages from early to late. Schwartz pointed out that the current interest of traditional financial institutions in acquisitions in the crypto space is insufficient, creating a strategic acquisition window for Ripple. At the same time, the technical team is upgrading the XRP Ledger Blockchain, planning to enhance Programmability and launch lending protocols, but will maintain its focus on payment features that distinguish it from general purpose chains like Ethereum. In April of this year, the company acquired the brokerage firm Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, having previously acquired the custody company Metaco for $250 million and Standard Custody.
